Vapid wannabe-model Deb (Brooke D'Orsay) dies in a car crash and is accidentally sent back to earth in the body of the also recently deceased Jane Bingum (Brooke Elliott) - a brilliant, caring, and plus-sized attorney. While only starting to get used to Jane's life and body, she already has to deal with her next cases, among them Marcus Newsome (Sean Maher), a young widower intent on suing a pharmaceutical company because he believes one of their drugs drove his wife to suicide.
