This project by David E. Kelley Productions never got past the (unaired) pilot episode. It centered around a 23-year-old first-year med student (Audrey Marie Anderson) who, after battling a life-threatening illness for years, finds herself moving from patient to doctor while also finally maturing as an adult woman. Sean was cast as Bret Fennow, who was described as follows in the casting call: "30. Chief Resident at UCSF Hospital, he is bright and handsome, "the guy you want taking care of you." Sensitive, caring, decent, and extremely likable, he was Halley's doctor, now her friend. Clearly, he'd like to be more."
